Our Roots – Genesis was founded in 2004 by a small group of entrepreneurs looking to introduce professionalism and quality to the local Sacramento – Elk Grove, CA window tinting industry. The goal was to implement the template of customer driven service coupled with expert window film installations. Thanks to our loyal customers we are now a budding franchise with two growing locations serving Elk Grove, Sacramento, Roseville and Rocklin.
Our Team – We believe the greatest asset and the key to our success is our team. At Genesis you can expect the best, so we seek to hire and retain the best. Our installers are either currently Formula One Llumar certified or are training to earn the designation. We offer annual, formal continuing education for our employees on automotive and flat glass film application so they can stay abreast of vehicle changes and technology advances.

Genesis Autoworks is Born. Doors opened on June 13, 2004 on 9864 Dino Drive Elk Grove, CA. Only offered automotive window tinting.
Larger location and main road visibility. Double our work space and expanded our showroom.
We became the first Xpel trained and 3M certified installers in Sacramento County.
We break ground on our 2nd location in Rocklin! July 25, 2008. We are awarded our Contractor’s License 7/31/2008. Officially started our flat glass division.
Started servicing the Elk Grove and Roseville Auto Mall Dealerships.
Purchased car lifts and trained multiple employees to install. Paint Protection Film started being sold through our partner Auto Dealerships and with retail customers.
Started to offer vehicle graphics and custom vinyl applications.
Larger location and main road visibility. Closer to the Roseville Auto Mall and closer to the freeway.
Huge boost in paint protection our dealers and consumers recognized the value of paint protection.
Our lead technician Nick Abaro took 1st Place at the International Window Film Competition. He was titled the best Paint Protection Film Installer in the world.
Expanded in Elk Grove to support the Vehicle Wraps and Clear Bra. Invested in a 5000 sqft warehouse to expand.
Genesis became a Llumar SelectPro Elite dealer for Eastman Performance Films offering the highest performance tint in the industry. We also become a 3M Certified graphic installation store and UASG Member.
Now specializing in vehicle wraps, boat wraps, fleet wraps, wall graphics, and custom graphics.
Expanded into 10,000 sqft operation and currently employing over 20 employees.
Genesis earns the Western Regional Dealer of Year Award by Llumar Window Films.
Founder and CEO Joshua Maharajh wins 1st Place at the International Window Film Competition. He was titled the best Paint Protection Film Installer in the world. We are the first company to win this division twice!
